It gives us immense pleasure in inviting you for Balloon Mitral Valvuloplasty Symposium 2010 to be held on September 11, 2010 at Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences, Kalapet, Pondicherry.
Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences is the medical school of Madras Medical Mission spaced out over 32 acres of green environment, 140 km from Chennai on the scenic East Coast Road along the Bay of Bengal. It is 15 km ahead of down town Pondicherry and takes around 3 hours to drive from Chennai.
The primary intention of the workshop is to teach the art of Balloon Mitral Valvotomy to beginners and will have 5 live cases along with 5 lectures as on how to select cases, do the procedure, tips and tricks and managing complications. The faculty has renowned operators from across the country. We are also having a challenging case scenario for which we request you to send us cases with complications and how you managed. The top ten cases will be selected for presentation in the session. Kindly send us a brief discussion of the case and procedure along with the images in a CD format to reach us before 20.08. 2010.
