MOU'S
   

MINISTRY OF HEALTH , TANZANIA

SAVE A CHILD'S HEART, NIGERIA

A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed with the Save a Child's Heart/Bethesda Heart Centre at Nigeria on 11th March 2005. According to the MOU, MMM will treat patients referred by this organization. As a matter of fact, 9 patients have already been received from this centre for cardiac treatment at MMM.

MINISTRY OF HEALTH, REPUBLIC OF SEYCHELLES

Ministry of Health, Republic of Seychelles has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Madras Medical Mission on 12th February 2003.Consequent to this, MMM has started receiving patients from the Seychelles, both from the Ministry of Health as well as private patients for all its units. MMM has till now treated 60 patients.

NAWALOKA HOSPITALS, SRI LANKA

Madras Medical Mission has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Nawaloka Hospitals Ltd, Sri Lanka on 3rd November 2003. As a result of this MOU, doctors from MMM have started performing cardiac surgeries on paediatric patients at the Nawaloka Hospital in Sri Lanka . Until date, 15 patients have been operated upon.

INTERNATIONAL CHILDREN'S HEART FOUNDATION , U.S.A.

A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed with the International Children's Heart Foundation, Memphis, Tennesse, U.S.A. on 11th January 2005 when its Founder and Medical Director, Dr.William M.Novick, M.D. visited Madras Medical Mission. As a result of this MOU, the two organizations will have bilateral co-operation in terms of the following :

  • Trials and clinical works
  • Organising future conferences
  • Sharing of visits between surgeons and cardiologists from various countries

MMM also receives patients from Sri Lanka through the President's Fund , Sri Lanka . Ministry of Health, Sultanate of Bahrain and Ministry of Health Sultanate of Oman have been referring patients from their country for further treatment at MMM. AAR Health Services, Kenya also has tie-up with MMM for their patients' treatment. MMM has arrangements with certain organizations like  Kenyatta Hospital, Kenya, Dharamsey Nensey, Muscat, Taha Inc., Sharjah,  Sultan Foundation Limited, U.K.

Rotary Club of Mombasa , Kenya , Rotary Club of Tebrau, Malaysia are also other agencies who have arrangements with MMM for treating patients.

Core Medical Supplies of Sultanate of Oman has an MOU signed for referring their patients to MMM.
