The Institute of Cardio Vascular Diseases is proud of its modern Blood Bank with facilities for providing blood components like platelet concentrate, cryoprecipitate and fresh frozen plasma. Blood issued from this bank is screened for communicable diseases as per WHO guidelines; routine tests including VDRL, MP/MF, HIV, Hepatitis viruses B and C and Anti HBC-T.

A fully equipped and modern Biochemistry Laboratory provides the support system required for patient management. State-of-the-art techniques include drug assays and drug level monitoring.
