The Department of Clinical Biochemistry involves specialized Biochemical Investigations like Lipid Profile, Thyroid Profile, Cardiac Enzymes, Apo Proteins, Cytokines, TNF, Homocysteine, High Sensitive CRP, Glycosylated HbA1C & routine blood tests like Blood Sugar, Urea, etc. The tests involved are diagnostic, and are meant for preventive and rehabilitative purposes, by which a cardiologist can determine the kind of treatment a person requires. All routine tests are performed and based on the result, the opinion of the Cardiologist is obtained.
