The students are grouped into various houses like ROSS, NORWOOD, GLENN & FONTAN which are named after of the contributions of the pioneering surgeons and physicians.Each house is lead by the Captain, Vice captain and the Secretary selected from the students. The clubs conduct various events in order to exhume the various talents latent in the young energetic and enthusiastic minds.These extra and cocuuricular activities maintain a vibrant atmosphere through out the year and enhance the students learning experience. |

| » World Heart Day Celebrations: 24 th –30 th September 2007 |
An Informative skit titled “ Is Fast Food the Best food”? was put up by the M.Sc Clinical Nutrition students of MMM Academy of Medical Sciences. The function was earmarked by a fitness demo displayed by Ms. Ninareddy and her team.
Inter School quiz competition and Inter Collegiate Elocution was conducted on 29 th September 2007 as part of the World Heart Day celebration. Students from various scho0ols took enthusiastic participation. St.Paul’s grabbed the first place and DAV Matriculation occupied the second place.
A 20-minute walkathon by Dr. Mullasari Ajit, Director Cardiology, Dean , Dr.Philomena Mariados, faculty , staff was organized from Kendriya Vidyalaya, Anna Nagar to Madras Medical Mission was organized on 30 th September 2007 earmarking the celebration of World Heart Day. Students marched forward with slogans related to World Heart Day. |
| » Convocation ceremony - 23 rd February 2008

The fourth convocation ceremony of the MMM Academy of Medical Sciences was conducted on 23 rd February 2008. Dr.Meer Mustafa Hussain, Vice Chancellor, T.N. MGR Medical University conferred the degrees to the graduants The B.S. Physician Assistant and B.Sc. Medical Sociology are the pioneering courses of the Madras Medical Mission. The Vice President, Mr.Verghese Eapen presented the MMM President’s Medallion Award to Ms. Pratibha Mariam Evelyn for excelling in Academics in the B.S Physician Assistant programme. Mr.Singamuniaswamy was the recipient of Prof.Grace Koshy Award for the best outstanding student of the Post Graduate Diploma in Medical Microbiology.
All the graduates also took solemn pledge on the occasion to uphold the values of the Alma Mater. The Vice Chancellor in his Convocation Address advised MMM to seek affiliation with the T.N.MGR Medical University for all the courses

The Sports Day 2008 of MMM Academy of Medical Sciences was indeed a Sports Day with a difference. While the Allied Health students enjoyed “Sprints” and “Relays”, the Tiny Toddlers of Nolambur Village enjoyed “Breaking of Balloon” and “10 meters Race” to the cheers of the students of MMM Academy of Medical Sciences.
The Chief Guest Mr. Abraham Samuel, Honorary Treasurer, Madras Medical Mission in his message to the students emphasized that Sports evokes sympathetic and empathetic values in the character of a Sportsman in the sports field, which unfolds throughout his life”.
