Education and Training have always been the key activities of the healing ministry of Madras Medical Mission .All education programmes conducted at MMM complex, Mogappair have now been shifted to MMM Academy of Medical Sciences at Nolambur since January 2006. The aesthetic and elegant edifice in natural and verdant surroundings is located amidst a five acre campus. While the practical training for all courses are being conducted in the MMM campus , theory classes is being conducted at MMM AMS.
MMM Academy of Medical Sciences is affiliated to the Tamil Nadu Dr.M.G.R Medical University for the M.Sc Medical Sociology Programme , which is first of its kind in India.
The MMM Academy of Medical Sciences makes selective choices of programmes in Allied Health Sciences in collaboration with leading Universities and organizations such as Birla Institute of Technology and Sciences , Pilani , Rajasthan , Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai, Avinashilingam Unviersity for Women , Coimbatore and Christian Medical Association of India , New Delhi. MMM AMS is an Authorised Learning Center of Sikkim Manipal University,. Manipal.
Scholars of this Academy are provided with theoretical knowledge alongside functional domain exposure.Training in other health care organizations and vacation training programme are integrated in the curriculum .
