POST – GRADUATE DIPLOMA IN MEDICAL SOCIOLOGY ( PGDMS)
Objective
This programme fulfills the longfelt gap between the knowledge and training necessary for all those who work in the first line of interaction with the patients in patient care settings or the beneficiaries in health care programmes of the Government and Non-Government organisations.
 
» The knowledge, approach and attitudes of the candidates after the training will meet the expectations and objectives of the health care providers. Equipped with greater sociological and psychosocial understanding they will be able to make rational decisions, be more humane and have better interpersonal relationship with doctors and colleagues of large organisations providing health care.

» 12 months ( 2 semesters)
Eligibility
 
» Graduation in Sociology, Psychology, Health , Sciences, Biological Sciences, Administration and Management studies, Physiotherapy, Nursing and Pharmacy with a minimum of 50% of marks.
Age not more than 30 years as on 01.06.2005.
