MMM College of Nursing was established in the academic year 2008 and has been formally approved by Government of Tamilnadu (G.O.293 dated 11.08.2007).The college is affiliated to "The Tamilnadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University", Chennai and has been recognized by the Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi and by Tamilnadu Nurses and Midwives Council, Chennai. The college is located at Nolambur, Mogappair West, Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

The College of Nursing is roofed under 'The Madras Medical Mission'. The origin of this Premier Institute goes back to the summer of 1982, with the formation of 'The Madras Medical Mission' as a ‘not for profit’ organization. This was inspired by the missionary zeal of His Grace Bishop Zachariah Mar Dionysins and backed by the commitment of the doctors and members of the Orthodox Syrian Christian community at Chennai who promoted this registered charitable society.

From modest beginnings two decades ago, the synergy of proficient practitioners, prudential management and providential guidance has metamorphosed this ISO 9001:2000 certified 'The Madras Medical Mission' into an organization of excellence that promotes some of the finest super-speciality tertiary care medical institutions in India, with superlative infrastructure, leading edge technology and accomplished professionals.
